Fill your Firestarter (see Accessories) with lumps of high grade Cole Henley Charcoal; place the unit on the heatproof plate provided on level ground in a safe outdoors area, away from children, animals and guests.

Now place 2 firelighters underneath the Cole Henley Firestarter and light. After around 15 minutes the charcoal should be hot and beginning to collect a grey ash, once this is present you are ready to go.
